| Military Surplus Guns or MilSurps can be
| |
| | cheap and abundant in many of the
|
| an extra great deal. I was first turned
| |
| | calibers, both surplus and commercial. My
|
| onto milsurps about a year ago. Since
| |
| | SKS shoots 7.62x39 and I can buy a 500
|
| then I have become Cruffler or Curio and
| |
| | round tin of this caliber for about
|
| Relic Firearms Licenced. It basically
| |
| | $40-$50 delivered.CONS to
|
| allows me to purchase curio and relic,
| |
| | milsurps.They're cheap. Sometimes you get
|
| C&R firearms, both longarms and short,
| |
| | what you pay for. I've been fortunate and
|
| via the internet or local dealer without
| |
| | not received anything I was unable to
|
| a waiting period and have them shipped
| |
| | live with. I read stories of some real
|
| directly to my house. Now before all you
| |
| | sewer pipes out there (horrible barrels).
|
| anti-gun nuts out there get in an uproar,
| |
| | These are mostly limited to the pawnshops
|
| C&R firearms are over 50 years old and/or
| |
| | and gunshows. Some folks try to unload
|
| listed as a relic by the BATF, so it's
| |
| | their junk on others. Most of the big
|
| cool. Now onto the topic. I collect and
| |
| | online dealers like Centuryarms, AIM, and
|
| enjoy shooting anytype of gun, new or
| |
| | SOG have pretty good grading criteria and
|
| old. I prefer Milsuprs though and here's
| |
| | will allow you to return things if you
|
| why.First of all they're cheap. My first
| |
| | get one that slipped through grading
|
| Milsurp, a Russian Mosin Nagan chambered
| |
| | process. Civilian Markmanship Program is
|
| in the potent 7.62x54r was bought at Big
| |
| | an excellent and probably the only way to
|
| 5 sporting goods for $79.99. In a matter
| |
| | buy true American milsurps that have not
|
| of 20 minutes I was able to purchase the
| |
| | been re-imported from loaned governments,
|
| rifle and a box of ammo. This is a bolt
| |
| | sorry guys no select fire's ever, this
|
| action rifle and was at least 4 feet long
| |
| | includes M-14's and M-16's. I bought my
|
| but still cool.Second the history. I'm
| |
| | M-1 Garand from them, it's balls on
|
| not necessarily a history buff, but I do
| |
| | accurate, new barrel I tink and only set
|
| enjoy learning about the wars that the
| |

|
| rifles may have served in. Seeing the
| |
| | Some are ugly. This one is questionable,
|
| pantina and grime on the old warhorses
| |
| | beauty is really in the eye of the
|
| really sparks me imagining the soldier
| |
| | beholder, some like wood and metal,
|
| sitting in a foxhole somewhere hugging
| |
| | others like plastic and composites. It's
|
| that rifle for dear life. There is lots
| |
| | a personal choice. I know for a fact if I
|
| of debate out there about restoring a
| |
| | ever run out of ammo for my Garand in a
|
| milsurp, by extensive cleaning, and stock
| |
| | firefight, I can always beat them to
|
| resurfacing. I see both sides of that
| |
| | death with a few blows.I own both,
|
| fence. It could be so beautiful if
| |
| | milsurps and NIB, new in box, modern
|
| resanded and stained, but yet the
| |
| | weapons. They both have distinct
|
| character that age gives it also makes it
| |
| | advantages and disadvantages. But when
|
| beautiful.Third, it's addictive. They're
| |
| | I'm at the range and someone asks me what
|
| like potato chips, you can't just get
| |
| | I'm shooting it's because it's not
|
| one. Currently I own 6 Milsurps and can't
| |
| | another 10/22 or remington, etc..Provided
|
| wait for my next purchase.
